Controlled drug cabinets either meet or exceed the requirements of "The Misuse of Drugs (Safe Custody) Regulations 1973".
Controlled drug cabinets either meet or exceed testing to BS 2281.
Controlled drug cabinets are fitted with either a 7 lever mortice dead lock or a double bitted 12 lever mortice lock.
Controlled drug cabinets can be fitted with a mains/battery visual/audible warning alarm.

Developed and fully tested in association with an independent inspectorate for compliance with the proposed changes to the "The Misuse of Drugs (Safe Custody) Regulations". Changes in legisaltion will not be retrospective.
Designed specifically to meet the requirements of retail pharmacy, doctors surgeries and hospital pharmacies these cabinets are designed to satisfy the latest specification required by government for the safe storage of controlled drugs and other substances. Constructed in 6mm thick steel plate the cabinets are, welded internally, and stiffened to create a very strong unit. The internal shelf/s are adjuatable and can be adjuated to allow for the storage of 5 litre bottles . (Two 5 litre bottles can be stored in the CDC350 and twelve in the CDC470 cabinet with room to spare.) The 6 mm thick steel plate door is strengthened internally and set within the cabinet making jemmy attack very difficult. The door is secured by means of a multi point locking system, operated by a handle and locked in place with a 7 lever mortise dead lock, a 5 mm thick steel dogging plate is welded internally to the door to prevent its removal should the hinges be attacked. All the cabinets are powder coated and oven baked in white leatherette for a tough, long lasting finish. Cabinets are supplied hinged on the right (as you look at them) unless left hinge is specified. Base fixing for all cabinets is with 4 x M10 anchor bolts (supplied separately).
